Document Scanning
Document imaging moves information management from paper to a digital format. It converts paper documents into viewable images on a computer that can be retrieved effortlessly in seconds. With our web-based information management systems, you can search, view, print or store all documents that you want, anytime you want – all at the click of a mouse.
You control the document workflow. Here's how the process works:
- You log into our secure QuinlanVault® website and request the document(s) for scanning
- The documents are prepped (i.e., they are sorted, any staples, clasps or folders are removed, and damaged documents are repaired)
- Documents are then individually scanned and converted into either a PDF or TIFF format, with each digital image double-checked for quality. As your documents finish scanning, our staff returns the document to its original condition, in order, with staples and folders in place
- Next the digital images are assigned a distinct number including the date of the scan. The images are then uploaded to the QuinlanVault.
- Once your images are in our secured server, you will receive an email informing you that your images are ready for viewing. You will be instructed to log into http://i.quinlanvault.com.
- Using your password, protected log-in you will be able to access your scanned documents
- With this easy-to-use process, you are able to search, access, and view your completed digital archive library
- You will be able to view, print, download or email online
- You can either store on your server or PACS. To free up valuable data storage space, for a few dollars per year you can store the images on our proprietary inventory management system, QuinlanVault
- The first thirty (30) days of storage are free, then you can decide to delete or continue to store images on QuinlanVault for a minimum monthly fee.
You now are in total control of the information you need anytime and anywhere Internet access is available.
